1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs everything you do on RIVO: the assets, images, videos, audio, scripts, and other materials you upload ("Input Content"), the prompts you write, and the content you generate through our AI tools ("Output Content"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into, and forms part of, our Terms of Service. By using RIVO you agree to comply with this AUP. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2. You Are Responsible for Your Content
You are solely responsible for all Input Content you upload, all prompts you submit, and all Output Content you generate, publish, or otherwise use. RIVO is a tool: we do not review, endorse, or claim authorship of content created through the platform, and we do not pre-screen Input Content. You must ensure that your use of RIVO — including any downstream use of Output Content — complies with all applicable laws and does not violate the rights of any third party.
3. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, submit as a prompt or reference, generate, or attempt to generate content that:
- Sexualizes minors: depicts, sexualizes, or endangers anyone under 18, whether real, fictional, or AI-generated. We have zero tolerance for this category: violations result in immediate permanent termination and will be reported to the relevant authorities where required by law.
- Is illegal: violates any applicable law or regulation, or facilitates illegal activity, including trafficking, sale of illegal goods, or evasion of sanctions.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery: depicts real, identifiable people in nude, sexually explicit, or intimate contexts without their documented consent, including undressing or sexualized edits of photos of real people.
- Deceptive impersonation: impersonates a real person, brand, or organization in a way intended to deceive, including deepfakes used without consent, fabricated statements attributed to real people, or synthetic media presented as authentic footage.
- Infringes intellectual property: uses copyrighted works, trademarks, logos, or a person's name, image, voice, or likeness without the required rights or permissions. Only upload reference material you own or are licensed to use.
- Enables fraud or disinformation: includes fake documents, forged identification, fraudulent advertising, phishing material, scams, or media designed to mislead the public about elections, public health, or emergencies.
- Promotes harm: incites or glorifies violence, terrorism, or violent extremism; promotes self-harm; or constitutes harassment, threats, or hate speech targeting individuals or groups.
- Violates privacy: exposes private or personally identifiable information about others without consent, or is used to surveil, stalk, or dox any person.
4. Prohibited Uses of the Platform
- Abuse of systems: probing, scanning, or attacking our infrastructure; introducing malware; interfering with other users' access; or attempting to bypass rate limits, credit accounting, plan restrictions, or content-safety filters.
- Unauthorized automation and resale: scraping the service, automating account creation, sharing or reselling account access or credits, or offering RIVO's generation capabilities as your own service without written permission.
- Model extraction: using the service or its outputs to train, fine-tune, or benchmark a competing generative AI product or model.
- Spam: using the platform to produce unsolicited bulk communications or engagement-farming content at scale.
5. Moderation and Enforcement
We may, but are not obligated to, review content and activity for compliance with this AUP, including through automated systems. If we determine that an account or content violates this AUP, we may remove or block content, suspend or permanently terminate the account, forfeit remaining credits without refund, and report activity to law enforcement where appropriate. Failure to enforce a provision once does not waive our right to enforce it later.
6. Third-Party Provider Policies
Generation requests are processed by third-party AI providers, each of which enforces its own usage policies. Content permitted by this AUP may still be rejected by a provider's safety systems, and repeated attempts to circumvent provider-level restrictions are themselves a violation of this AUP.
7. Reporting Violations
If you believe content created or shared through RIVO violates this AUP or infringes your rights, report it through the in-app feedback form with enough detail for us to locate it. We review reports and take the action we deem appropriate, including removal and account termination.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP at any time by posting the revised version on this page and updating the version identifier above. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use of RIVO after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
