1. Information We Collect

At RIVO, we only collect the information strictly necessary to provide you with our AI generation services. This includes basic account details and the prompts or reference materials you upload specifically for generating images and videos.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for operating the RIVO app and fulfilling your generation requests. We do not sell your personal data or use it for any purpose outside of providing and improving the core functionality of our AI studio.

3. Privacy of Your Projects

All your generations, storyboards, and workspaces are strictly private by default. Only you have access to your creations unless you explicitly choose to share access with others. We respect the confidentiality of your creative process.

4. Data Retention

• Projects & Generations: We will store your generated images, videos, and storyboards on our servers. However, we reserve the right to delete the file history and projects of inactive accounts (without an active subscription and without any logins) after 12 months of inactivity.
• Credits: If you cancel your subscription, your remaining unused credits will be preserved for exactly 2 months. If you do not renew your subscription within this timeframe, those credits will be permanently deleted from your account.
• Right to Delete Any Account Data: Regardless of account activity or subscription status, RIVO reserves the right to delete, restrict, or permanently remove any stored content, projects, or account data at any time and without prior notice if we determine, at our sole discretion, that: (a) the account has been used to generate harmful, illegal, explicit, or otherwise policy-violating content; (b) the account poses a security or integrity risk to the platform or other users; (c) the account exhibits prolonged inactivity patterns inconsistent with active use; or (d) any other circumstances that, in RIVO's sole judgment, warrant data removal to protect the platform and its users.

Even if your credits expire, your previous creations and projects will remain securely stored and accessible to you, unless removed under any of the conditions described above.

5. Payment Data

RIVO does not directly collect or store your payment information. All payment processing is handled by our third-party payment provider (Polar / Stripe). When you purchase a subscription or credit pack, your payment details (such as card number, billing address, etc.) are transmitted directly to and processed by these providers in accordance with their own privacy policies and PCI-DSS compliance standards. RIVO only receives confirmation of successful payment and basic subscription status information. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of our payment processors for more details on how they handle your financial data.

6. Cookies & Analytics

RIVO may use essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, authenticate your account, and ensure the basic functionality of the platform. We may also collect anonymous usage data to understand how the service is used and to improve it over time. This data is not linked to personally identifiable information. By using RIVO, you consent to the use of these essential cookies. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect the functionality of the service.

7. Third-Party Access & AI Providers

We do not share your personal information or projects with unauthorized third parties. However, to fulfill your generation requests, RIVO necessarily transmits certain data to third-party AI infrastructure providers — primarily Replicate — including your prompt text, reference images, and other generation parameters. These providers operate under their own terms of service and privacy policies, which may include provisions regarding data retention and usage. RIVO is not responsible for the data practices of these third-party providers. We encourage you to review their policies if you have concerns about how your generation inputs are handled. Additionally, inputs you submit are only used for generation execution and not for training external models by RIVO. The determination of whether providers use inputs for their own model training is governed solely by each provider's own policies.

8. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. RIVO and its creator cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

9. Disclaimers & Limitations

RIVO is developed and maintained by an independent sole creator. The service is provided "AS IS" without any guarantees regarding uptime, data loss prevention, or continuous operation. We shall not be held liable for any data breaches, loss of data, or damages arising from the use of the service. By using RIVO, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

At our sole discretion, we may modify or replace this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a notice on the RIVO website or by sending you an email. It is your responsibility to check the Privacy Policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of the service following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
